ANMI 2021

The Australian New Music Incursion (ANMI) was a pilot program undertaken at Iona Presentation College to highlight new Australian works. Students work with a composer to create short musical ideas based on concepts found in a selected new Australian work. These ideas are then workshopped live by a small chamber ensemble - this allows the students to receive real, authentic feedback.

For 2021 the new Australian work studied was my piece where the merfolk lie (between bridge and dinosaurs) (excerpt provided)
